You would think that Chase Bank, with its rich history and reputation would provide exceptional service to its clients. Unfortunately, I just don't see it. I have had an account with them for many years, over 20, and the only reason that I continue banking with them is because one of their locations is so close to my home. The other day, I went in there simply to obtain the services of a notary to notarize a document. I went to the teller who told me that I had to wait for one of the bankers. Fine I said, when I went to sign in at 3:30 PM I was told that only one of the bankers, just ONE was a notary and she wasn't available until 5. Flabbergasted, I left the bank with disgust, went to Wells Fargo and got my document notarized in less than 10 minutes. I came this close to changing all of my accounts directly to them but the bank was further away. Perhaps Chase no longer feels the need to totally satisfy its clients because of their size. I don't know why it is that they never seem to be able to help me beyond making a deposit or withdrawal but it does seem to be the case. Very disappointed with them
location convenient to home
